I can’t tell you one negative thing about this house. It is comfortable, had every amenity you could wish for, fabulous view and nice walks. The owners are considerate and helpful. The cleaning team left the property spotless. The Ship inn is a few mini walk from the property and offer good food at reasonable prices.

Beautiful house in an amazingly beautiful place, surrounded by stunning views of the sea and countryside, the hosts are friendly and very personable, the house itself genuinely feels warm and welcoming with lots of attention to detail even down to the little things you usually forget to take, it genuinely feels like a real home and not like some of these holiday homes that are plain and sometimes cold, really didn’t want to leave.

A very well equipped and comfortable property with a wonderful view of the sea. The beach is a 10 minute walk with a cafe and access to the coastal path. There are several shops and takeaways nearby.

Sand dunes is indeed a superior accommodation

Sand dunes is indeed a superior accommodation, set in a beautiful location; complete with a lovely sea view and access to all the main attractions. The local pub is on the doorstep, which is an added bonus. It is tastefully decorated and equipted to a vey high standard and has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.

Excellent all round a great place to stay

Excellent all round a great place to stay we particularly enjoyed the outdoor space at this property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating especially with the things for our 16month old grandson. Strongly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous place

Absolutely gorgeous place run by such a lovely couple! It’s close to all the cute little towns like Charlestown, Fowey, Mevagissy so they’re all only a few minutes drive away. Also only a short walk from the beach and a local pub which has live music on the weekends. Check in was super convenient and smooth. We will definitely be coming back to this wonderful place!

We had a fabulous holiday at Sand Dunes. The house had absolutely everything you could ever want and the owners were super helpful and approachable. Little things made all the difference like beach towels and equipment, fans in the bedrooms, outdoor furniture and BBQ. The beach is a short walk away and lots of lovely places near by. We would definitely visit again!

Best kitted out holiday home we have seen

Absolutely first class accommodation with everything for a fabulous holiday and more. Best kitted out holiday home we have seen with welcome pack and all necessary outdoor equipment. Hosts very welcoming and on hand if anything needed and with helpful hints re beaches etc.Only mini gripe was with description implying only yards from the beach when in point it was unfortunately not walkable with beach gear and paddleboard to carry. However good car park nearby made access easy. Highly recommended and would love to return.

wonderful location with lovely views

Stayed for a week 6th July to 13th July 2024 wonderful location with lovely views from the property. Very clean house with everything home from home, owners were very helpful informing us of coastal walks even lending us a back pack for our hike on the coastal walk from Par sands to Fowey which had amazing views not to be missed. Owners left a welcome pack including homemade scones, cream, jam and wine which were delicious. Everything supplied only needed clothes and food.

A beautiful house in a great position. The views from the windows are lovely. Extremely well equipped with everything you could possible need and so clean, whoever cleans that house is amazing. Soft fluffy towels, plump pillows, comfortable beds and a huge shower. There was nothing negative about this house, one of thr best we’ve ever stayed in.

What a lovely house to stay in

What a lovely house to stay in. Everything you would need. The hosts were great making sure we had everything we needed.
The beach is a short walk. There is a lovely child-friendly pub 5 mins’ walk with a beer garden that provides good food. So many lovely Cornish villages and beaches to really close to visit from the house.

An amazing week in Cornwall. Sand Dunes is a 5* house in a perfect location overlooking Par beach. The owners Gail and David live next door, and were attentive and full of good advice.

It really is impossible to find fault. We had an amazing family holiday, and made lots of great memories. That in itself was priceless !!

Superb property in a wonderful location

We had a fantastic holiday at this superb property in a wonderful location. The friendly and accommodating owners have thought of everything you might need from tea, coffee and sugar to dishwasher tablets and antibacterial surface wipes to beach towels and buckets and spades. Excellent welcome pack! And there’s a decent little Co-op just up the road.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sand Dunes, a real home away from home. Everything we could possibly need was there, even all our needs for a day on the beach. Lovely house and lovely hosts.

Gail & David were perfect hosts and the house, location, outside area (if better weather had) view, welcome basket were all excellent. 10 out of 10 and if we stay in the area again, would be our first choice.

A fabulous property

A fabulous property, quality linens, towels and the most comfortable bed I have every found in a holiday let. Very warm welcome and lovely welcome pack. A truly 5 star property.

A very well equipped house fitted out to very high standards

A very well equipped house fitted out to very high standards, with lots of additional thought and care by the owners. We received a very warm welcome and the best welcome pack ever.

The house is very toddler friendly with an excellent travel cot and mattress and high chair. Stair gates had also been fitted in advance for our convenience.

Lovely large fluffy towels in bathrooms and additional towels and equipment available for beach use.

The house is in a peaceful residential area and very well situated for the local beaches and nearby places of interest. We didn’t have to drive very far to reach Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissy. Polkerris Beach is very close and a real hidden gem.

There are sea views from the lounge, dining area and the main bedrooms as well as the lovey garden, which offers excellent outdoor dining furniture and is a great place to sit and relax.

The accommodation is in the luxury category

Based on my 25 years of holiday rentals in England and France, I would say the accommodation is in the luxury category and the facilities for cooking , washing and lounging are top class. I really appreciated the owner making contact directly with me regarding the arrival arrangements . This was a first for me and removed a major stress item ahead of 400 mile drive . I would like to visit this house and this part of Cornwall again. Overall a very relaxing & enjoyable experience.

Fabulous family holiday at the sand dunes. The garden is perfect for our family holiday and view a gorgeous each day. House was very well presented and loads of equipment on hand so saved taking a lot of stuff with us. My only worry with a smaller child newly walking would be the centre piece in the lounge with sharp corners and a gate to prevent little ones heading down to the bottom garden would add extra safety. But will certainly be looking to book again in 2022.

A truly fantastic holiday in fabulous accommodation.

Gail the owner contacted us prior to our holiday with advice with places to go and to make early restaurant bookings and again on our departure to wish us a safe journey .

The house is clean and modern, everything inside and out is fitted to a very high standard.

We felt very welcome by Gail and David who left us wine , tea/coffee/milk scones jam and cream and many other things which helped make our holiday more enjoyable.

Fantastic place to stay with lovely views from the garden.
The house was spotless, with everything you need, and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful.
The beach is close by, though down a steep hill, and local shops a couple of nice pubs are within a short walking distance.

Absolutely loved this house. Fantastic location with beautiful sea views and only a short walk to the SW coastal path and the beach.

We enjoyed breakfast outside every morning gazing at the stunning coast line.
The house was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need.

We were greeted by the lovely owners and it was such a nice surprise to have a welcome tray with scones, butter, jam, cream and 2 bottles of wine. Such a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return one day.

Warm, comfortable, stylish property with everything you could possibly need for a (better than!) home from home self catering holiday. Appalling weather though so the tumble dryer was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately unable to take full advantage of the garden furniture and the wonderful views. Local CoOp within walking distance for all necessary provisions and beach also a short stroll. Only slight negative- watch your ankles on the very solid sculptural coffee table in living room. Possible trip hazard and sharp corners if you have children

A lovely family holiday at Sand Dunes, a warm welcome from Gail and David really helped us to settle quickly into the holiday. The house caters for the English climate, with comfortable outdoor furniture, a beautiful view of rolling hills and fields and 500 yards to the beach. Also somewhere to dry our wet clothes. The little extras like Netflix in most rooms, fluffy towels, hand creams and a fab coffee machine made it a wonderful experience. The children enjoyed the board games and the yummy cream tea that Gail made. We visited Newquay Zoo, and saw our first sloth, which actually moved! We bumped into Gordon Ramsey in Fowey at his new holiday home. There was a quick trip to Charlestown, now famous for TV’s Poldark. A very busy area, but the restaurants looked great, if you wanted to stop and chill. We had earlyTea at Sam’s Diner in Par Moor Road, was good value for money served with giant milkshakes, that filled us us for the rest of the day. A super holiday, highly recommend
