Megabus.com has started running daily routes from Falmouth via Newquay, Bodmin/St Austell, Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol and London and if you are quick enough you can snap up tickets for just 1 one way, with a 50p booking fee. However, you have to be quick as only a small number are offered at this price. However, you can still get to London and back for as little as 20. And the catch? – you cannot get off at stops unless it is the one you are disembarking from. There is however free wi-fi and plug sockets on board and a toilet and one child under three-years not occupying a seat can travel for free with one adult. All buses leave Falmouth at either 9.10am or 9.25am and also stop at the Falmouth University Penryn campus. Here are the times and prices: Newquay Location: Manor Road bus station Journey time: between 50 minutes and one hour ten minutes Cost: 7 each way. Return journeys leave: 6.50am. Bodmin/St Austell Cornwall Services – journeys take between one hour 20 minutes and one hour 32 minutes and cost 7 each way.
