For Christmas inspiration and festivities visit this Thursday and Friday or the same days next week. On December 12 and 18 St Pinnock Brass Band will be playing Christmas carols. The nursery boasts a wide variety of plants and outdoor ornaments as well as a gift shop bursting with gorgeous gift and decoration ideas. Freshly cut local Christmas Noble fir trees, handmade wreaths, table decorations and stunning seasonal planted arrangements of cylamens and poinsettas to help bring a touch of nature’s decoration into homes this Christmas will all be available to buy. The Nursery gift shop, stocked with a variety of independent and exclusive designers, offers beautiful handpicked cards, wrapping and decorations including handmade glass baubles from A Winters Tale. Chef Richard Du Pille and his talented team in the cafe will be offering a special supper menu of warming winter favourites until 7.30pm booking essential. Join the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery team over mince pies and mulled wine for a series of informal seasonal garden talks and classes, including Christmas wreath-making, throughout December. The team will be sharing their expert knowledge and answering age-old seasonal gardening questions at regular free afternoon talks. Wreath-making classes are chargeable.
